What we heard
We were approached by a well-known not-for-profit organization that has been through significant change, with more to come. They were keen to find ways to support the workforce of 90 through the uncertainty and disruption that change brings.
We built a programme of activities to deal with the following questions:
How can we ensure our teams feel supported as we go through the change process?
We’re facing more change on the horizon. How can we keep everybody motivated?
How will we know what’s working?
We began with a series of initial workshops, designed to encourage employees to share how they are experiencing change. Key themes that came out of these sessions were fed back to the Senior Leadership Team, and we assisted in the building of a Stop, Start, Continue list.
Follow up workshops focused on the steps that individuals can take to help themselves through the discomfort of change. We shared strategies for how to keep resilience tanks topped up when they’re close to running on empty.
“Getting together with my colleagues and sharing our experiences really helped me realise, we’re not alone. We’re all in this together, and we can ask for help when we need it.”
