What we heard
We were approached by a medical research organisation, with 500 employees working in different locations, for help. The brief was to design and develop a programme that would give all managers a practical toolkit to help them support team performance in a hybrid world.
After a conversation to explore and understand the specific learning objectives, we devised a programme that addressed the following challenges:
How can I create a simultaneous learning experience for my dispersed management group?
How can I ensure consistency of experience across my hybrid workforce?
What tools can I give my managers to help them support hybrid team performance?
How can we offer ongoing support for my team's mental health and wellbeing?
A series of 3 x 90 minutes virtual bite size workshops, run over a 6 week period. The workshops were scheduled at different times of the day to allow managers in different time zones to attend. Each interactive and highly practical workshop focused on a specific tool with delegates given multiple opportunities for skills practice. The three tools were:
The programme was supported by two Action Learning workshops, facilitated by a 360 trainer, giving managers an opportunity to share progress and identify and work through ongoing challenges.
